taking me to that place

where not everyone is willing to go

listen

breathe

step...within

there I find

the deadliest of sin

it's not what I thought

not what I was told

it is sacred Truth 
that was lost

in the dark times of old...

The layer 

beyond the layer

and deeper still

vapor

breath

light as a feather

touching it

you can barely feel...

but you know it is there

like a brick

a cinder block

making itself known

gentle

quiet

the word so empty

to the freedom that it is

Truth

relative

yet

universal

 Truth

I stood tall

feet planted

roots strong

I said

"I am ready"

and the gates of heaven opened

pouring down all that I needed

to be whole

giving me a place to stand

giving me a cause to stand for

and fight

for the things unseen

for that which matters little

to a materialistic world

 stay your course

while the rocks crumble around you

the earth thunders and shakes

and as darkness creeps over the land

know this

the sun WILL rise

the sun in all its glory

with the tapestry of colour
it brings

splashing across the sky

beautiful chorus of love and light

exposing

exposing all Truth

this is the beyond

this is the enlightenment

this is the awakening

step into the wonder of it all

and look around

to see

others
